1st Innings: KKR vs SRH Attack By KKR
Phil Salt provided Kolkata Knight Riders with a sensational start, setting the stage for the Andre Russell spectacle. Salt ignited the hosts' innings with a blazing display, smashing three consecutive sixes in the second over. However, KKR encountered a setback as they stumbled, losing four wickets within the first 10 overs.
Ramandeep Singh launched a fierce counter-attack, propelling the hosts back into dominance. He hammered four sixes and a four, accumulating 35 runs from just 17 balls in a partnership worth 54 runs with Salt, achieved in a mere 29 deliveries. Ramandeep's innings came to an end when he was dismissed by Pat Cummins, allowing Salt to reach his half-century before falling to Markande on 54 off 40 balls. Subsequently,
Russell showcased his explosive batting prowess, smashing seven sixes and three fours on his way to an unbeaten 64 off 25 balls. He combined with Rinku Singh to form an impressive 81-run partnership in just 33 balls. Rinku contributed 23 runs from 15 deliveries to the partnership, This steered KKR to a challenging total of 208 for seven
SRH’s two leading wicket takers were Left-arm pacer T Natarajan was their most successful bowler with a three-wicket haul (3/32) and Mayank Markande (2/39).
2nd Innings KKR vs SRH: Re counter By SRH
Sunrisers Hyderabad team seemed down and out at 145 for 5 in the 17th over. However, Henry Klaasen's blistering 65 off 29 balls gave Kolkata a scare before he perished on the penultimate delivery of the match.
With three overs remaining in the chase, Hyderabad required 60 runs. Klaasen hammered Varun Chakravarthy for two sixes in the 18th over, while Shahbaz Ahmed also struck a maximum as they amassed 21 runs from the over.
At several points, SRH threatened to chase 208 down, particularly when Heinrich Klaasen (63, 29b, 8x6s) went berserk in the backend of the innings. But the Hyderabad side fell agonisingly close to the target with Harshit Rana saving 12 runs in the final over.
What did these 2 have before coming out to bat?! 😮💨

Henrich Klaasen scored 63 runs off just 29 balls, and his partnership with Shahbaz Ahmed seemed like it would be enough for the visitors to secure victory
But Harshit Rana maintained his composure to dismiss both Shahbaz Ahmed and Heinrich Klaasen in the final over, denying SRH a miraculous comeback as KKR secured victory by just four runs
Requiring 13 runs off the final over and with momentum in their favor, Sunrisers had a dream start to the 20th over when Klaasen struck a six over square leg off Harshit's bowling. However, he managed only two singles thereafter, followed by two wickets and a dot ball in the next five deliveries, ultimately sealing the deal for KKR
